You are invited to go with the Tuesday Morning Study Group to see the Peace Circle statues on Main Street.  Our very capable guide will be Sallie Andrews who besides being a Wyandotte Indian is also one of the Grapevine officials who researched the Indian tribes and was instrumental in bringing their statues to our city.    The statues commemorate the 1843 gathering of the leaders of ten Amercian Indian nations and with Sam Houston on the Grape Vine Prairie to allow settlers to come into our part of what was then the Republic of Texas.  The City of Grapevine respectfully acknowledges all Indigenous People who have lived on this land since time immemorial.    We will meet at the Peace Circle in front of the Grapevine Main Station at Main and Dallas Road at 10AM on Tuesday, May 17.  Please do come and join us.
